Emergency radios

NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards is a National Weather Service broadcast, not a feature a brand can invent. A receiver still has to be set to the local transmitter. SAME, where a radio has it, is the county filter described by Ready.gov.

Hand-crank and solar are extra ways to put energy into a radio. They are not automatically a full charge. Where a manufacturer’s own pages disagree about battery size, the model page leaves that field unknown and prints both figures.

Which models are recorded?

Alphabetical. This is not a ranking and not a price sort. “unknown” means the cited page did not settle that field.

Model Capacity Continuous Surge or peak Conflicts
Midland ER10 unknown unknown unknown none recorded
